Roddy Freeman

Roddy is a media industry veteran with deep experience in all media.

After graduating from the University of Maryland with a Communications degree, Roddy Freeman started his career at W.B. Doner & Company in Baltimore as a Media Research Assistant and then became a Media Planner/Buyer.
He then moved to Ted Bates in New York as Media Planner and was promoted to Media Supervisor. Next, Roddy joined Cunningham & Walsh as Media Supervisor on Procter & Gamble’s Folgers Coffee and the Sterling Drugs division of American Home Products, being named VP, Assistant Group Media Director in 1986. When NW Ayer acquired Cunningham & Walsh the following year, he joined Ayer in the same capacity. In 1988, he returned to Doner as VP, Group Media Director.
In 1994, Roddy moved to McCann Erickson in Atlanta as Media Group Head, working on the Motorola and Six Flags accounts. He founded Media Innovation, a planning and buying company, in 1996. He has been working with Pure since 2011 on accounts that include Callaway Gardens, Optim Healthcare and Blalock Lakes.
